About WealthPercentile
WealthPercentile shows where an income or a net worth sits among adults in a country, a region or the whole world.
The model combines the World Inequality Database (WID) and World Inequality Report, the ECB Household Finance and Consumption Survey, Statistics Norway and other national statistics with transparent modelling where direct data do not exist. Every country receives a separate data-quality score for income and net worth, and the full methodology, assumptions and validation tests are published on the site.
What it is — and what it is not
WealthPercentile is built for curiosity and education. It produces model estimates, not official statistics, and it is not financial, tax or investment advice.
